Six arrested in English football match fixing inquiry
Six men have been arrested by British police investigating alleged match fixing in English football.At least three footballers are reported to be among those held; the BBC understands that none are linked to professional clubs.
Police said the focus of the operation was a suspected international illegal betting syndicate.
The arrests follow an undercover investigation by the Daily Telegraph newspaper.
